Touristy
My family from London is still here so yesterday we went to Venice beach, the Santa Monica pier, and Third Street Promenade. It’s been years since I’ve visited any of these places so it was fun seeing how things have changed.
I’m a little bummed I didn’t take as many photos as I wanted to but sometimes I feel like a jerk when I bust out my DSLR. I know it’s something I have to get over. It’s not like I’ll see any of these people again. Β An iPhone would make it so much easier though.
Can’t wait ’til I get my legs tattooed. The lone calf piece looks so static.
MR. QUIGGLY! Lily could totally be Mrs. Quiggly.
And at the very end of the Santa Monica pier a guy used a flash mob to propose to his girlfriend (far right with the sunflowers). It was so cute! She said yes and everyone screamed, hollered, and clapped for the happy couple.
We ended the night with burgers at The Golden State Cafe. I think I still prefer Umami Burger but both places are good and worth checking out if you’re in L.A. They have vegetarian options, too!
i love how the tattoos look on the front of your legs! i know this can’t be true, but i feel like i never see them on the front. so awesome.
Thanks! And do you mean mine in particular or just in general? π
^ Agree!! ^

i feel like a dork with my camera too. i always feel like people are thinking ‘oooh look at her. that’s gonna be a good/stupid/pointless picture’ because i think the same haha
Most of mine usually are!
I’ll bet there was some awesome people-watching there! I hear you on the camera conundrum. I always feel so conspicuous & sheepish & then kick myself later for not taking more shots.
Indeed there was! Glad to know I’m not alone with the camera conundrum.
Wow, so many people! And love that cardigan on you!
It’s even more packed in summer! And thanks, it’s from Allsaints!
I’m SO the same with taking my camera out in public.
Ah! Awesome…I love those flash mobs. π
I’m going to Santa Monica in June, cannot waitttt!
