Happy Socks
These socks are everything and more. I cannot remember the last time I was so stoked on a project and that is sad. They’re just perfect in every way–from the color, to the yarn, the pattern…the fit!
It was my first time making cables without cabling. They’re probably not even considered cables but the look is there and was accomplished with decreases and yarn overs. Did not see that coming.
The socks are mirrors of each other which is totally cool, I just didn’t like what I had to do to accomplish that–work one sock more than the other. Granted, it’s only 16 stitches more, but the perfectionist in me died a little.
I’m so happy with how they turned out it’s stupid.

I am not surprised you are happy with these socks, they are gorgeous! I love the colour and the stitch definition on the lace is amazing. We will smile like crazy when you have these on your feet.

Those are gorgeous!! I’ve been hankering for a pair of lace yellow socks for myself as well — I think I’ll have to cast these ones on at some point!
