Running
June 13, 2012
I used to hate it. It made me feel worse about myself and was too much for my lungs and knees. But now that I’ve been at it for a few weeks and my body’s getting stronger I finally see the appeal.
I have a long ass way to go but with each run I do see improvement in my time and that’s enough to keep me going for now.
I don’t know that I’ll ever be as fast as Amanda or develop super awesome running powers like Katie but I’m going to try!

Brave girl! I too hate running for those exact reasons. I have terrible joints and I swear I’ve developed adult asthma. I mean, I can’t be thaaaat out of shape to start weezing when I leisurely walk up a hill! I’d love to try to get into running though. It seems so rewarding.
I have asthma and had to check with my doc on how to keep it under control (breathe in and out through the nose). And it is rewarding! I always feel like a boss at the end of a run 😉
Woohoo! You have this marathon in the bag.
Hope so! 🙂
Welcome to the club! 🙂
Thanks! 😉
Rock on dude. I hate running. I need to get over that hump like you did!
That’s the hardest part but you can do it. Cypress will pull you worst case scenario 😉
