A Lovely Weekend

Friday night I went to see the Local Natives at the Music Box (formerly known as the Henry Fonda).

As soon as they came on stage I found myself going “awwww!”… They’re all such cutie pies! My fave song from their set was their closer “Sun Hands”. They all have so much energy, especially the ‘stached one. I wish we didn’t sit behind such wacked out people though. The entire night I saw arms flailing as they tried to mimic the drummer and “feel the music”.

Did some knitting Saturday (I added two more stripes after the picture was taken). I thought it’d be nice to see what it would look like on so tried to put it over the mannequin…Failed though since I couldn’t get it past the shoulders. The circs I’m using are 32″ and I was too lazy to switch them out.  Lily stopped by to see what I was up to!

She wanted up on the couch (ahem, car seat) so I had to oblige.

And it was then I realized she doesn’t ask for much…only company ❤

The last bunch of photos were taken with a new lens I picked up today. I’m in LOVE.
