If you look at the links above I added a new project page–Sewn! You’d think it would have been up sooner considering it’s such a big part of my life *ahem* and *cough* but I didn’t have enough finished objects to include. Had I done it any earlier my love for sewing would have seemed almost non-existent, like a phase or a lets-see-if-i-can-do-it sort of thing, next to the my other project pages (knitted and crocheted) which are quite full. Some of the links will take you directly to the etsy listing or section and others will take you to the blog post where I include details and comments. If you want to see progress shots you can click the tag that is the name of the project (all related posts will have it).
I’ve been working on my hexie afghan and have a whopping SEVEN finished. I’m quite picky with color combinations and redid a few numerous times. I wanted an afghan with light and pale colors so chucked a few bold ones like royal blue and blood red. After realizing that without these bold colors there would be no way I could come up with 100+ combinations, I brought them back out.
My weekend is going to be jam packed with awesomeness (you know how that goes) so I’ll be back next week (unless something spectacular happens and I feel the need to blog it immediately) with some crafty goodness.
