Best. Saturday. Ever.
I visited my almost-frenchie, Lily! She’s just a giant ball of cuteness. I watched her play with her momma Olive and her sister May for a while then realized how lucky I am…Knowing I have a happy, healthy, and well-loved furbaby on the way makes the long search for her totally and completely worth it. And she’s already making those frenchie noises! I die.
I kind of cheated with the last picture though–it’s of Lily’s sister. She liked sitting on his shoes!!! How could I not post something so adorable?
We left Lily, May, and Olive’s house starving but already knew where we were going to eat–Prep Kitchen! It was recommended to my sister and I by the lovely folks who are currently raising my baby girl. It was delicious. It’s a restaurant that serves “home cooked” food like salads, sandwiches, pasta, antipasti, and wine. Sister had the sea bass and I had baked rigatoni with egg plant, mozzarella, and peppers. I have a mad sweet tooth so grabbed a brownie (with pecans and caramel on top!) and a chocolate chip cookie on the way out. I would definitely recommend that place if you’re ever near one. Not going to lie though–I felt like a hipster just eating there.
All in all a great great day. Next big event–HONG KONG!
I also have a pair of socks I’m almost finished knitting (i’ve been working on them for MONTHS). Expect them to be posted in the next few days or so, hopefully before I leave!
