Day 5: Where do you like to indulge in your craft?
Anyone who knows me knows I love my dogs. LOVE. Because of this, my absolute favorite place to knit or crochet is at my desk. The lighting is atrocious and ventilation non-existent, but there is enough room behind me for the two of them to hang out and keep me company.
It also helps that my TV, yarn stash, and books are within arm’s reach! My desk is pretty large so a lot of my WIP’s and tools are sitting there (my granny squares, lace and cable socks, hooks, needles, etc…). Notes I’ve made on patterns are usually put on a sticky note and when I’m done I stick them on my shelves. It’s just a really crafty area!

I have most things within reach, though maybe I should place things strategically around my room so I have to get up and not be so lazy 😀
Being lazy isn’t always a bad thing… 😀
I like to have all my knit stuff within easy reach too. But somehow the one thing I need always seems to be on the other side of the room 🙂

I think you need a chair with wheels. It’ll make getting to the other side of the room a breeze. Trust me. 😉

I love to put things on the small table next to my chair, but alas, there’s usually a cat snoozing there.
They know it, too! They get away with so many things… Apparently your cat does also 😉
hmmm….one place for all knitting things. Good idea! I’m forever carting mine around in small knitting bags….and misplacing them.
I actually have boxes that fit into each square cubby (there are some underneath the desk) which is where I stash my yarn. I usually have my one WIP (My Mother taught me to never have more than one project going at a time if not I’ll never finish) in a small bag so if I’m in a rush I can just grab it. 😀
I so wish I had a big enough desk to have everything I need right there within reach.
I actually wish mine was smaller, it’d force me to be more organized! The shot only has half my desk because the rest of it was so utterly tragic.
AWWWW. I want to give your puppies a hug. Your desk looks awfully cozy.
