Math Fail

I was about to sew the shoulders on my pullover together when I realized the front and back stitches weren’t split evenly. Dumb you guys. DUMB.
Have you made any stupid mistakes lately? Crafty or not?

I love your dog! so cute! I recently cut fabric with a dinosaur print and accidentally had the print upside down

There’s probably not time to list all the mistakes I’ve made, but wow am I glad I stopped long enough to gaze at that pic of Lily! Fantastic!
I was bummed until I saw the photo op. Wouldn’t have happened otherwise!
So sad! But at least Lily has a new wig. In college, I once had to resew the waistband of a dirndl skirt THREE TIMES. Whatta waste of time!
I think taking out the stitches that many times is worse than sewing it!
Lily is gorgeous – I only recently discovered your blog and now it’s my favourite! Talking of dumb – today I spent hours taking my sewing machine apart & swearing at it after the feed dogs mysteriously stopped working, only to finally realise that I’d set both the stitch length and width to Zero….ooops……

I realized I was listening to a book on CD on shuffle, only on the third disc…

I don’t make things that require math or patience for this exact reason. I can’t even make a friendship bracelet without getting angry.
A cool off period is usually enough for me to pick it up and finish at a later time. Then the problems are all forgotten (kind of).
yes. knitting a shawl and I totally had the right side not equal the left side…. sigh. Frogged & started over.
cooling off period is definitely needed.
