An Evening BBQ
We had one today to celebrate Easter Lily’s recovery.

My Mother made this “jello” and as she handed it to me said, “I just threw this together. I don’t know if it’s good or not.” Thanks?
I could only handle one bite of that so traded it in for a cream cake. Sorry Mom. Still love you.

By the end of the night we all had food coma. Look at that belly!
Before all the festivities I worked on the new apron style.
Some tweaking still has to be done but this is what it’s going to look like more or less.

This french maid apron is similar to the Bella style but there’s a double skirt, a mini apron, and ruffles.
Hope those who celebrated had a lovely Easter! If not, I hope your Sunday was awesome!

OMG! LOVE THIS APRON! Excuse me, but, WOW! And your food pictures are making me hungry at 3am here. A little curious about the green/white/red dish (3rd pic from the top).. It looks yummy and I’d love to know what it is.
Thank you!
That’s my Mom’s version of ceviche–faux crab meat, onions, cucumbers, cilantro, and lemon juice. We eat it with tostadas and tabasco! Normally the seafood is raw and marinated with lemon juice.
That apron is so super cute! Glad you guys had an awesome Easter. We did much the same, a bunch of food followed by lounging on the patio.
Thanks! Laid back celebrations > extravagant stuffy ones
