Puffed Pancake
March 11, 2012
It was extremely puffed when it came out of the oven (so much so it split in a few places) but flattened out as it cooled. I found it really dense in the center and I’m not sure if it’s because of the pan I used (would a bigger one thin it out?) or if it’s just how it is. I don’t remember what my last puffed pancake was like. I used Taza’s recipe.
There’s Lily trying to soak up what little sun there was. Sometimes I catch her falling asleep sitting up because she loves it so much.

Your dog is SO cute! I have a Jack Russell/Pug mix (he’s a Jug!), he just loves loafing around in the sunshine, and so do I!
Jug, haha, I like that.
Oh, your yummy looking pancake really reminds me of the pannukakku-s I had when I visited Finland! Icing sugar and strawberries are awesome with pancakes. And Lily looks so funny and cute!
I will definitely have to try one if I ever find myself in Finland!
Do! I like them best with raspberry jam.
