The best time to take pictures of a neck warmer around your neck? When it’s 104 degrees Fahrenheit, duh.
No doubt this will keep the recipient warm and toasty come winter time.
(The few minutes I had it on I thought I was going to DIE)
And while I know it won’t get cold in SoCal for a good month or two, I started another neck warmer for myself. It’s loosely based off Envy and has horseshoe cables in between two rows of seed stitch. I like what’s happening so far but am worried I don’t have enough yarn. Crossing my fingers I do! When this is finished, semi-impressive knitting will start up again (Beatnik).
And oh yeah, Lily’s been helping me knit but she finds the repetitive pattern quite boring.

Thank you! It took me a few times to get it. There were years in between attempts, but on the last one something clicked. I had my Mother teach me but it was too nerve-wracking with her watching, so I used a book instead.
Oi. This week has definitely been killer. Thank Thor it’s supposed to start cooling down tomorrow. I literally stayed downstairs until 9 last night because the a/c just couldn’t get the upstairs cooled down enough to tolerate working on photos!
