The Celebration
This is the second dress she wore today. You’d think a dress so simple would be quick and easy to make, right? NO. I thought those ruffles would be the death of me.
And that’s the “birthday girl party hat”! haha, this was something she kind of minded. I crocheted both hats (hers above and the striped one below) using a basic cone shape and just added some elastic I had lying around.
Stinky borrowed Lily’s hat even though he had his own. It was striped and not as fancy… he couldn’t show up the birthday girl.
Maggie and Stinky actually shared a hat…I ran out of time and couldn’t make a pink and white striped one for her:(
The dogs were treated to ribs (plain). Lily was being a brat and didn’t want to eat her bone so I had to hand feed her. Gross.
She didn’t have a problem eating the birthday cake though (with ice cream). Yes, we did sing to her.
And there’s her birthday present from my Mom and Dad. BITCHIN’.
It was quite a successful birthday celebration. Tomorrow…DOG BEACH! Happy Saturday

gah! that harness is adorable. i think the blue dress is my favorite, but she seems to be able to pull off any look. such a stylish girl.
I’m hiding my dog’s eyes as I read this post bc I don’t think I can pull off such a fabulous doggie b-day party, and he will be mighty jealous when he sees that spread!
