Box and Bottle Cap Pincushions

I had to trash my teacup pincushion because it collected too much dust and the stitches were so big the pins fell through.

With some fabric scraps, a cardboard box, a bottle cap, string, rice, and poly-fil I was able to make these.

The one to the right reminds me of a mushroom! It was kind of fugs by itself so I added the bow with left over string. I wanted to attach it to a ring blank but didn’t have one lying around.

They were really easy to make!
