Lily’s Balaclava
HOLY FREAKIN’ CUTE!
Pattern: Anti-Firework Dog Balaclava courtesy of Muir & Osborne
Needles: US 9
Yarn: Vanna’s Choice (balaclava) and Red Heart Super Saver Scraps (flowers)
Mods/Notes:
Lily needed a size larger than the biggest size on the pattern so I just used bigger needles.
She has a really short neck so stopped at 33 rows before C/O for the face hole, should have stopped earlier.
Worked it in the round.
Crocheted flowers instead of knitting strips to roll up.
Face hole is only 13 rows tall.
AHHH I love it!
She didn’t mind the balaclava and went about her normal business (drinking water in the last picture). Lily didn’t even try to paw at it! She’s probably used to wearing things though, I always have sweaters on her in the morning.
I wanted to add more flowers but her head is only so big!

Lily has to be the most tolerant dog ever. She doesn’t even look that disgruntled in those pictures!
Yes Lily is use to wearing her t shirts and her pj”s. She is such a little princess when she is not trying to show off being a “bad ass”!
Oh my , that is irresistible.
She is too adorable! Ack!
*kiss kiss*
