Montana Scarf
Pattern: Montana Scarf by Craig Rosenfeld
Yarn: 3 skeins Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick in Barley
Needles: 9″ Bamboo US 13
Start/Finish: 11.29.10/12.19.10
Finished Measurements: 8″ wide and 86″ (7.16 feet) long.
Notes:
-Cast on 24 instead of 30 stitches and am happy with the width. Tried 30 and it was way too wide.
-Each skein gave me two feet and a few inches.
-The finished scarf is REALLY STRETCHY. Can make it a bit wider or a bit longer by tugging
This is a gift and it’s going to a dude so I wanted a simple pattern and this one was perfect. It knit up quickly and I’m sure I could have finished it in 2-3 days had I not been doing other things. It’s much longer than I thought it would be but other than that I’m really happy with how it turned out…YAY!
Tempted to make another for myself but I don’t think I have the discipline…
