She's Finally Home!

As soon as Lily got here she went straight to her bed and picked out a present (a nylabone). My finger served as a chew toy for most of the ride home (when she wasn’t sleeping) so I’m glad she found a replacement.

I took her out to the garden so she could get used to her surroundings and tire herself out. That didn’t really work though because she’s like the energizer bunny! She had these random spurts of energy and ran as fast as she could from person to person before plopping onto the grass. Lily doesn’t know how to slow herself down yet (she’d run towards us at full speed then veer to the right or left) but I have no doubt she’ll figure it out soon enough.

I love that she’s responding to her name and already knows one command–”KISS!”

Lily’s on my lap fast asleep as I type this…I have a feeling we’re going to be the dynamic duo.
