Quilting Time!

Back in the day when she actually had time (think pre-Boojiboo), my sister made this lovely quilt.

I’ve always wanted my own, so yesterday while cutting fabric I decided it would be the perfect time to make one! I had lots of fabric to choose from…

But was able to narrow it down to these!

Never have I been so excited! It won’t be like hers exactly, I think I’ll have strips instead of plain blocks in between the pinwheels. Mine is also going to be larger since I want it to cover my entire queen-sized bed. It’s going to be my “summer blanket”.

I already cut all the pinks/reds, yellows/oranges, purples, and greens. I didn’t get to the blues yet, but those should be taken care of by tonight!
